I need my own personal whip cracker. I can't seem to light a fire under my own ass to get working on the Insecurities series again. I'm just now starting to type up the proposal that I'm going to send around to collect others' contribution images, and I've only taken 3 photos of myself to continue the self portrait part of it.

I'm hoping to not only have the enthusiasm and drive to get it all typed up and sent out, and to get photos taken of myself, but also to just have time to get it done.

Sometime in either late July or early August my mom's getting a hysterectomy, which means for about 3 weeks I'm going to be the head of the house and responsible for the cooking, cleaning, shopping, getting my dad up for work, taking care of my mother, and then all of my own personal responsibilities. I'm perfectly capable of doing it all, it's just going to be an odd shift for me, given my lackadaisical lifestyle lately.
